Flexible Copper Clad Laminate (FCCL) also called Soft Copper Clad Laminate. In addition to the advantages of thinness, lightness and flexibility, FCCL with polyimide base film is characterized by excellent electrical, thermal and heat resistance. Its low dielectric constant (Dk) enables fast transmission of electrical signals. Good thermal properties allow for easy cooling of the components. Higher glass transition temperature (Tg) allows the module to operate well at higher temperatures. Since most of the products of FCCL are supplied to the user in continuous roll form, the production of printed circuit boards using FCCL is conducive to the realization of automated continuous production of FPCs and continuous surface mounting of components on FPCs.
