The mosaic electrode can concentrate the heat energy on the workpiece to be welded to the maximum, thereby forming an efficient nugget; at the same time, the copper rod of most mosaic electrodes is easily designed to be water-cooled, so the mosaic electrode is compared with the whole pure tungsten electrode. Pure molybdenum electrode is better in high temperature and current application.
