Stellite surfacing wire has good red hardness, and can still maintain high hardness and good abrasion and corrosion resistance above 600℃. Among them, high carbon, good wear resistance, but reduced impact resistance. The dilution rate of gas welding is lower than that of electric arc welding, which is widely used because of less melting of the base material, shallower depth of melting, and high quality of surfacing. However, when gas welding, due to the large heat area of the welded workpiece, slow temperature rise, the workpiece deformation is larger than electric welding. Stellite surfacing wires are widely used in petrochemical, energy, aerospace and other industrial fields, and play an important role in the high temperature and corrosive environment of surfacing repair and strengthening projects.
